WHERE IT ALL BEGAN...
Here at The House of Facets, we are a young family with a passion for all things sapphires - the dirt and the glamour - on an adventure of a lifetime to see if we have what it takes to be the next generation of sapphire miners on the Central Queensland Gemfields. Our journey started in early 2019 with a week-long getaway to the Gemfields from our usual hustle and bustle of life. Getting down and dirty digging on our families claim, we soon found that sapphire mining is a laborious job! But the hard work and sweat only made us fall in love with the Gemfields more - especially when at the end of the week we had a hand-full of sapphires to show for it! From that week forward, we made it our mission to pack up our lives as we knew them and move permanently to the Gemfields to start our new adventure and see where it takes us. Fast forward to 2026, it's safe to say the Sapphire Gemfields still have us hooked with that gem fever! Together expanding our knowledge and skills with bespoke jewellery designs, we have been working harder than ever to present our clients with a piece of the Queensland Gemfields, upholding the quality of our precision cut sapphires in our bespoke handmade jewellery makes.
